Brendan Staunton was front man of Dubh Chapter whose album, ‘Silence, Cunning & Exile’ (produced by Steve Hillage) remains a nineties cult classic.
He also sang the haunting vocal on indie dance single ‘Weird Gear’ by Ultramarine.
More recently, he sang and co-wrote a track on the acclaimed Cross & Quinn album, ‘Cold Sky Blue’ with members of King Crimson, Tiny Magnetic Pets and Air.
He also produced a solo album, ‘Last Of The Light’, which mixed and matched all his influences down the years: think Todd Rundgren fronting the Comsat Angels… Ben Watt rearranging a lost Dylan melody … or Scott Walker doing a show tune in a trip-hop style.
BOTTLE OF POP is his new project which he's done in collaboration with producer Phil Taylor and his sons, Ollie (who plays guitar) and Eddie (who plays drums) and XXXXX (who plays sax).
